The camera is equipped with photosensitive resistance, which enables the camera to automatically detect and recognize light to automatically switch between the night-vision and day-time shooting mode. Manual settings is required!
Note: There is a logo "3MP" on camera, sorry for that it's Mold's error, actually it's 5MP camera.
How do I manually switch between night vision or day mode?
1. The camera works by default in day mode.
2. Run the command: sudo nano /boot/config.txt and add disable_camera_led = 1 on the last line. After saving and restarting the Raspberry Pi, the camera will work in night vision mode. To return to normal mode, simply delete disable_camera_led = 1, save and restart the Raspberry Pi.
