The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is a device that uses acoustic waves to measure the distance of an object. It measures the distance by emitting a sound wave of a specific frequency and listening to the sound wave bounce. By recording the elapsed time between the generated sound waves and the bounced sound waves, we can calculate the distance between the sonar sensor and the object.

The HC-SR04 is ideal for measuring the distance of all category items, such as avoiding obstacles. The HC-SR04 provides 0.78-236 in / (2cm-600cm) non-contact measurement with a range accuracy of 0.19in. The module includes an ultrasonic transmitter, a receiver and a control circuit.
